The Scrapyard in this film serves as an eerie, desolate hideout for one of the characters. The ravaged home of hundreds of androids.
The alleyway was meant to feel cluttered and overtaken by scrapped droids -- it's almost like a graveyard.
The Marketplace in Metal Heart is conversely very bright and busy!
This was the first sketch for the main marketplace street in my senior film. It was inspired by Indian bazaars and steampunk cities.
This was a lighting test to help figure out how light would maneuver through the hanging fabrics and layered buildings.
